FINN HEAVYWEIGHT SAILOR GREG SHAW ON COURSE TO WELCOME SPONSORS ABOARD FOR INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENTS Greg Shaw is looking to secure sponsorship in order to compete in the ISAF Finn International Racing Circuit in 2007 and beyond. The lead sponsor's name will appear on both the sail and hull of his boat, as well as on all clothing - and the motor vehicle used to tow the boat to events. Major events such as the World Championships are televised and feature on Sky Sports, and further publicity can be expected, for instance via sporting press reports in local newspapers covering results at events. 
The level of sponsorship Greg is seeking would enable him to compete in the United Kingdom Circuit, which will incorporate the UK National Championships and the Skania Sail For Gold Week in Weymouth. International events will include the World Masters Championships in Mar Menor, Spain, from the 24th May to the 1st June, 2007 - Greg's entry has been accepted - and the Dutch, Belgian and German Open Championships. Whether Greg competes in ISAF (International Sailing Federation) events in the USA, Australia and further afield will be determined by the level of sponsorship gained - but potential media coverage is most impressive.
