WEST AUSTRALIAN CRICKET CLUB FOR THE BLIND
The West Australian Cricket Club for the Blind aims to showcase the skills of blind cricketers to the community of Western Australia (a) by playing games of blind cricket on a regular basis and involving fully sighted and vision impaired players - they have just been invited to play an exhibition match in Collie (approximately 200kms from Perth) on Australia Day and a match in Busselton in March (approximately 250kms from Perth); (b) to actively seek new vision impaired players and to get them participating in the club as players and a part of the overall community; and (c) to send a team to the Australian Blind Cricket Championships, which are held biannually.
