DYNAMO GIRLS FOOTBALL CLUB
Dynamo Girls Football Club, based in Telscombe Cliffs, East Sussex, was founded in 2003 by Ruth Watson, who had run up against the trouble of having her daughter not being able to play in a boys' team when she reached a certain age. So Dynamos was formed - and since the early days when only a few girls turned up, the club now has around sixty girls across four age groups - u10, u11,u12,u13. With the 2005/2006 season by far being the most successful, the club is moving forward and has many plans for development, including facilities for a club house and changing rooms, etc. So the Dynamos are looking for sponsorship support. In the main this would be for supplying the girls with their own kit. At present they have a Nike kit, but this is being withdrawn by Nike at the end of the season. The club would like the girls to turn out in a kit they can be proud of, with a company logo, etc. and so are looking for sponsorship of £250-£350 for team kit/training kit in return for the inclusion of the sponsoring business's name on the team's shirts, their company name on the club's website, invitations to events, a photo of the team in the kit for the sponsor's offices and promotion of the sponsor's company at tournaments, events, etc. In April 2007, the club is holding the very first Dynamo Festival of Football. Any help would be much appreciated. Contact: Alan Burr, Fundraising Officer. Address: 31 Hurdis Road, Bishopstone, Seaford, East Sussex BN25 2SP. Tel.: 07961 805801. E-mail: aa.burr@ukonline.co.uk

footballcv.com LTD.
footballcv.com started life as a website for 'would be' young footballers who wanted a trial with a football club to show them their ability, but, having written dozens of letters to clubs, seldom got a reply. As the organisers all worked in the football industry, and during this period had made many good contacts, they decided to start a business they would enjoy, both through helping youngsters achieve their aims, and from working in an environment they enjoyed. As the business expanded they went a step further and started their own trials. Most recently they held trials at Leeds United FC, Charlton Athletic FC and Coventry City FC, dividing the players into age groups. In addition they sent invitations to all the managers and scouts of Premier League, Football League and non-League clubs for them to come along and view the players. They have held further trials at Northampton Town FC, Tranmere Rovers FC, Swindon Town FC, Gateshead International Stadium, Falkirk FC and many non-league grounds. There have been many 'success stories' from these trials - these can be viewed at www.footballcv.com, the organisation's website, which shows that there are up to 2,000 registered members, with the number increasing every year. Website trend for last 3 months    Average monthly visitors: 19,325     Average daily visitors: 630    Average monthly page views: 100,174    Average daily page views: 3,266    Average time per visit: 445 secs. Recent developments include working with Manchester United FC where footballcv.com will be running an exclusive Trials Day for 6-9 year olds for the Premiership club. Now they know that they have an idea that works they are looking for a Main Sponsor. They have a vested interest to ensure the programme works. The market is footballers from the age of six to those in their late twenties. With 1,700 members registered they would be able to send out mailings and introductory offers. There are also several thousand potential members who register their details on the website before completing their registration. For the Main Sponsor there would be a banner on all pages of the website with links to the sponsor company's website and of course they could promote the sponsor using their extensive database. The sponsor's name/logo would appear on all Trials Day programmes and other publicity material. They have just purchased an entire range of new kit. The sponsoring company could appear on all the players' shirts and on the kit worn by the staff on the day. footballcv.com point out that local radio and TV usually come along to the Trials. They have twice featured on SKY Sports, on GMTV, BBC Radio and TalkSport, as well as appearing in several publications such as Match magazine, 4-4-2 and The Non-League Newspaper. footballcv.com takes regular advertisements in the football magazines and the national and local press. If their proposal is of any interest they would be pleased to meet with any potential sponsor to discuss the possibilities. Contact: Graham Starmer, Director. LINCOLNSHIRE SOCCER SCHOOL
Lincolnshire Soccer School was first established in 1998 by an ex-professional footballer called Tommy Watson. The school was founded to bring football training to boys and girls in the Lincolnshire area. Today the school has become one of only a handful of football schools that have achieved Football Association Chartered Standard Community Club status. It has produced over sixteen football teams of all ages, from under 8s to an adult side who at the time of writing are third in the Central Midlands League and battling for promotion. The football school is also trying to develop its own football clubhouse, as well as its own pitches - and is now looking for a whole sponsorship deal to promote this. It is estimated that this would require a sponsorship deal of £15,000. The school also takes pride in providing F.A. Qualified Coaches, who visit all local schools to bring football into the community, letting schoolchildren of all ages enjoy an after school activity, assisting with confidence and attitude. It's clear that the organisation has so far managed to develop into a very successful football school and club, with football teams playing in several different leagues in the Lincolnshire and Midlands area. However, for the school and club to continue to grow, it needs some help. Contact: Stuart Catmull. Address: 34 Asgard Way, Scartho Top, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire DN33 3RJ. Tel.: 01472 232590.    SFL/PL0005    MANCHESTER METRO STARS FC
Manchester Metro Stars FC is a grass roots football club which plays in the ECSFL which is regulated by the Cheshire FA. The club is open to all members of the local community within the Manchester area. The club recently applied to be qualified as a Community Amateur Sports Club with the Inland Revenue. Its website is currently being re-developed by a professional web design company with the objective of raising enough funds to cover all overheads each season, with any surplus being re-invested into the club. The club would like to offer the opportunity for potential sponsors to sponsor its new website - the site's target audience is football orientated, and, with a bias towards NY MetroStars and Man Utd., it will also be showcasing the Red Art Collection, which is a limited edition set of paintings (caricatures) of past and present United players and teams by a local artists. The site will also feature weekly video clips, news and match reports, etc., together with a state of the art message forum. Sponsors would become official sponsors of both the team and the website, with links added to each page and sponsorship of the club's kits (if desired).    SFL/PL0006    OSSETT ALBION FOOTBALL CLUB
Ossett Albion is a Unibond Northern Premier League Football Club, based in Ossett near Wakefield, in the heart of West Yorkshire. Ossett Albion Football Club is looking for potential sponsors to help them achieve promotion to the next level in the English football hierarchy. The club was formed by a group of school friends as a junior football club in 1944 and the first fixture was played on September 16th, 1944. The club competed in the early days in the Spen Valley and Heavy Wollen District Amateur Leagues. Albion moved rapidly through the amateur district leagues to achieve Yorkshire League status by 1957. Ossett Albion has reached the higher echelons of non-League football virtually against all odds and on resources considerably lower than comparable organisations at the same or similar level. Ossett Albion Football Club has recently gained promotion to the Unibond Northern Premier League which establishes i within the top 250 football clubs in English football. The Unibond Northern Premier League encompasses a geographical area covering the whole of the north of England from Cumbria and Northumberland to Staffordshire. The club has attained a high level within the English football pyramid almost entirely through its own efforts and the money it has generated by its own efforts. To sustain and improve on this position becomes even more difficult. The club realises that it will not be able to accomplish all of its goals without outside support and so it is now pursuing other avenues for the generation of revenue. For many years, sponsorship has been seen as a quick way of raising money to help with the general running of the club. But the football club has failed to offer anything back in return for a company's assistance. Ossett Albion has now become aware of the fact that the club can offer so much in return for a company's support and is currently undergoing a radical change commercially. The club is looking for sponsors who are interested in becoming involved in the success that it is currently enjoying. Ossett Albion's management is convinced that the football club can help sponsors to attain desired corporate, marketing and media objectives at a local business level. More information can be found about Ossett Albion on the club's website. Ground Address: Queens Terrace, Dimple Wells Road, Ossett, West-Yorkshire. Tel.: 01924 280450.    SFL/005    DUNTOCHER YFC 1991's
Duntocher YFC 1991's is a youth football team who play in the SFA Glasgow Youth Development League. This league encourages development of technical skills and a football ethic as a priority over the need to play for points, cups, etc. Through the league and the SFA, members of the team have the opportunity to take up club development positions at senior professional clubs and the chance to experience training from senior professional players and coaches at this level. The organisation would welcome sponsorship from any organisation interested in helping it take advantage of these opportunities without their having to pass the costs on to the players. They manage their current commitments to league, association and local authorities through individual and collective fundraising and club fees or subs. They have in the past season taken advantage of the club development opportunities with club training sessions throughout the season at both Rangers Murray Park training facility and Celtic's Barrow Field training complex. The organisers feel that these sessions have undoubtedly helped develop both technical skills and a better understanding of the commitment needed to succeed as professional athletes. Ipswich Wanderers FC started as an under 14s boys team in 1980 and two years later they entered the lowest division of the Ipswich Sunday League. In 1987, the club became founder members of Division One in the Eastern Counties League (sponsored at that time by Jewsons), playing at its present ground in Humber Doucy Lane. Jimmy Barker became a very influential chairman and he negotiated a new sponsorship that entailed a name change to Lancaster Ipswich FC before the club eventually became Ipswich Wanderers. Jimmy died in November 1994 and his presence is sadly missed. A return to the Ridgeons Premier Division is the immediate aim of the club. They are nicely placed for a return and must maintain consistency in their run in to the end of the season under the management of former Ipswich and Tottenham player Jason Dozzell. A lot more work is required to bring the facilities up to Premier Division standards and constant improvements are made every season under the direction of Development Officer Roger Wosahlo and ground manager Tim Davey, who both sacrifice a lot of their time and effort to doing an excellent job. Ipswich Wanderers Youth FC, the youth team who play in the Eastern Junior Alliance at under 18s, are also seeking sponsorship. Sponsors' support will aid and assist the club in presenting a professional image at youth level to the community, thereby attracting some of the best young players for the future who can progress into the Reserves and First Team. The club does not currently have an under 16s youth team, but additional funding would allow them to support financially both youth teams, freeing up needed money for the continued development of the ground facilities. The camp will take place between August 27th and 31st, 2002 and the clubs are looking for sponsors to cover the cost of a ball and tee shirt to be given to every child. Contact: Laurence Keeys.    SFL/017    SKILLSCHOOL FOOTBALL COACHING ACADEMY
Skillschool Football Coaching Academy is a soccer school with a difference! Established one year ago to bring high quality coaching and opportunities for progression into the professional game, the Academy employs FA-qualified coaches, with a range of specialities from goalkeeping to fitness, from child welfare to the exciting, fast-paced and skillful game of Futsal. The organisation is structured so that there is a clear development path for young players with the emphasis on skill in the early years. Skillschool Football Coaching Academy is looking to produce well-rounded players with skill, speed, strength and a good understanding of the game. They have recently taken a lease on premises in Southport town centre as a training venue for their young players and their recently established, open-aged team, Tornado Southport. These premises will also be hired out to the public. Their aim is to win the Preston Futsal League within three years, putting them into the Futsal FA Cup, and then to use their junior players to win this - and thereby get into the UEFA Cup, playing against professional teams around Europe within ten years. The Academy is looking for a single sponsor for its junior and adult teams plus the premises. Contact: Ray Connolly, Director. Address: 33 Clifford Road, Birkdale, Southport, Merseyside PR8 4JR.    SFL/018    SPORTING ST. GEORGE FC
Sporting St George FC is looking for a sponsor who would be prepared to give a young adult team the chance to progress with its ongoing programme of giving players the opportunity to play football who have been turned away by other football clubs. The team currently plays on Sundays in the Woolwich & District Sunday Football League, which was formed in 1891 and is one of the oldest around. At present the club is trying to expand. But due to lack of funds - because a lot of the players are unemployed - this is very difficult. And also, as the club have never received any form of sponsorship so far, it is very difficult for them to progress. So if you feel you could help the club in any way possible (even by buying equipment), it would be most appreciated. Contact: Tony Boorman. Address: 25 Millfields Close, St Pauls Cray, Orpington, Kent BR5 2LQ. Tel.: 01689 670440. E-mail: borrmanfat@btinternet.com
