ECB announces that Brit Insurance is to become principal sponsor of England Cricket

The England and Wales Cricket Board has announced that Brit Insurance is to become the principal team sponsor of England cricket. The partnership will start in January 2010 and last for an initial four year period.

As part of this agreement the Brit Insurance logo will feature on all playing and training apparel worn by the England men’s and women’s cricket teams, as well as the England Lions and England Disability teams. Brit Insurance will also receive a comprehensive range of sponsorship assets that includes advertising in grounds (perimeter/tri-visions/big screen/programme ads), team image rights and access to members of England cricket teams for commercial and marketing usage. Gratitude ECB chief executive David Collier said: "We are delighted to welcome Brit Insurance as the new principal sponsor of the England cricket teams. With an established brand and excellent reputation within the sport we are looking forward to working closely with them over the coming four years.
