The Portuguese Festival was launched in Peterborough in 2014, a new and exciting annual event which proved highly popular.
The 2016 festival will take place on 9th and 10th July at Peterborough Rugby Union FC's ground. It is a celebration of Portuguese culture and allows the local Portuguese community to celebrate many aspects of their country's heritage and way of life.
As with the first two festivals, in 2016 there will be a range of attractions for all the family, including children, with entertainment in the form of singing, dancing and animation. There will also be the opportunity to sample Portuguese gastronomy, with stalls featuring pastries, wines, beers, cheeses and charcuterie.
"We are looking for sponsors to help us realise this third edition of the Portuguese Festival in Peterborough.
