Basildon-based counselling service The Listening Post speaks out about the visionary opportunity it offers to caring sponsors

The Listening Post CIC is a new community counselling service for the Basildon district.

  •  Our Aim

We aim to improve the mental health and well-being of residents in one of the most deprived areas of Essex, promoting community cohesion and reducing isolation. Our vision at The Listening Post CIC is to be able to provide counselling for anyone who wants it, regardless of their financial situation.

  •  How you can help

At The Listening Post CIC, in addition to our paying customers, we want to be able to provide counselling either free or heavily subsidised to our most disadvantaged service users. This means we urgently need funding with room hire, supervision and the cost of the therapist all to be taken into account.
