Burton Menswear's new sponsorship deal with EFL is "a natural fit"

The EFL has announced a partnership with Burton Menswear, with the brand becoming the Official Tailoring Partner of the EFL.

Since 1904, Burton Menswear has been one of the UK's leading fashion retailers. Famed for its tailoring, it provided the demob suits at the end of the Second World War and has played a role in some of the biggest sporting events in recent history, providing suits for England's team at three major tournaments, including the 1966 World Cup triumph and the European Championships in 1996.

This partnership follows recent agreements reached with Ginsters and Wickes to become official partners of the EFL, reflecting the growing commercial appeal of the game and the organisation.

Shaun Harvey, Chief Executive of the EFL, said: "Burton Menswear have an excellent reputation in the retail sector and have enjoyed a strong relationship with the football industry throughout their long and varied history. We welcome them on board as an EFL partner and are delighted to be wearing their high quality products over the next two seasons".

Wesley Taylor, Brand Director of Burton Menswear, said: "We are delighted to be partnering with EFL, which draws on our experience of providing suiting at key moments in footballing history.

"We know that a lot of our customers are fans of EFL so it's a natural fit and we look forward to working with them".
