Henley Finance to sponsor Henley Rugby Club's Winter Supper
Henley Finance has announced its co-sponsorship of the Henley Rugby Football Club's Winter Sporting Supper on the 2nd February, 2018. Henley Rugby Club is located in Henley-on-Thames and is home to the Henley Hawks.
The upcoming event will have guest speakers, including Ollie Phillips, one of England Sevens' most successful players. Ollie is a businessman, Guinness World Record Holder, Round the World yachtsman and expedition leader. Also attending is Adger Brown, one of the south's leading and most sought-after comedians.
Henley Finance is a regular sponsor of local events in Henley. They have previously sponsored the Henley Regatta and local racing car driver Olly Bryant, and the Beechdean Aston Martin team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. They are co-sponsoring the upcoming event with Chesterton Commercial.
The company was founded by Richard Butler Creagh in 2013 and sets out to help individuals secure the right loan to fit their needs. Henley Finance specialise in providing bridging finance as fast as possible to professional property developers.
Richard Butler Creagh commented on the sponsorship of the event: "We are delighted to be supporting the Henley Rugby Club this year. It is such an important aspect of Henley-on-Thames and we are looking forward to a great evening and making the most of the new banqueting facilities."
The club has had a good year, with the recent completion of Phase Two of their building developments, meaning that the club will have the best facilities in the league. The Henley Hawks have retained a strong squad from last season, as well as taking on some new talented players. They are competing well in the National League 2 South Division, currently ranking at sixth place in the tables.
The Women's Hawks have also had a very positive year, currently ranking in third place. The team has been building on the success of previous seasons and are looking to expand to add a second team as well as a junior girls team.
Positive results across the board, as well as the building developments off the pitch, provide a lot to look forward to for the rest of the year, as well as plenty to celebrate at the club's Winter Sporting Supper. Capacity for the event has been increased due to the popularity, with there now being over 200 guests in attendance.
The event will be celebrating Henley's sporting excellence, as well as raising money for the club. It seems set to be a great event with, says the club, the previous two dinners having been a roaring success and the proceeds going to Henley Rugby Football Club and local charities.
