HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW AND NEW BRITISH OPEN SEEK SPONSORS TO TAKE THE REINS

Described as the biggest event of its type in the world, the Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) is a place to which all riders and owners aspire.

Involving over 120 hours of competition and entertainment over five days, the indoor show has over 150,000 qualifier entries and 1,500 finalists. HOYS offers a unique blend of top competition including all of the most prestigious national finals, international show jumping, best of breed championships and world class equestrian entertainment. In 2002, after a rich heritage in London spanning fifty years, the show moved to the NEC Arena, Birmingham and attracted sell-out audiences totalling 55,000.

The event is multi-faceted and offers over 160 trade stands, exclusive ringside hospitality and numerous sponsorship and branding opportunities to suit all budgets. In 2002, the show attracted 6 hours of coverage on Sky Sports, 365 minutes of radio coverage across twenty stations and over 2,000 print media articles, reaching 153 million readers.

The dedicated website had over 143,000 unique users generating 5.6 million hits during the year. Packages are tailored to suit the sponsor's requirements and include an extensive range of benefits.

The British Open Show Jumping Championships is the first major indoor event of its kind to be launched in England for over thirty years. Held at the 8,000 seat Hallam FM Arena Sheffield, during the Easter holidays (24th-27th April, 2003), the four day show will immediately become one of the most prestigious events on the show jumping calendar.

The event includes top international show jumping and a blend of exciting displays and equestrian entertainment. The top twelve ranked British riders will automatically qualify for the championships competing, with leading riders from abroad. Highly cost effective sponsorship opportunities exist at all levels and to suit all budgets, from overall event title sponsorship to individual class and display sponsorship.

Sponsorship packages are tailored to suit requirements and include title rights and associated media exposure, arena branding, hospitality, tickets, programme advertising, etc.
