NO HALF MEASURES FOR SPONSORS AT BELFAST'S CATHEDRAL QUARTER ARTS FESTIVAL
The Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival has been bringing a feast of literature, theatre, comedy, music, circus, street theatre, film, family events, visual arts and more to the Cathedral Quarter area of Belfast's north city centre annually since May 2000.

It presents arts events in informal, often unfamiliar spaces, such as theatre productions in pubs, poetry in cafés, music in a boat on the river, opera in St. Georges Market and circus on the street. The culmination of all this activity is that for a period during April and early May every year, Belfast starts to resemble a cosmopolitan, culturally confident city in the European model. Guests to date have included authors Frank McCourt and Nick Hornby, comedians Dylan Moran and Jerry Sadowitz, and musicians such as Patti Smith, Billy Bragg and David Holmes.

Now coming into its sixth year, the 2005 festival will take place from 28th April to 8th May - CQAF is firmly established as an annual event and is eagerly awaited by a very loyal customer base. Following significant growth from 2000-2003, the 2004 festival involved some 900 performers and audiences of over 38,000.

The organisers are keen to hear from dynamic and imaginative sponsors who recognise what the Cathedral Quarter Arts Festival has to offer and would like to work creatively with a young, energetic arts organisation. For sponsors, there are several different levels of involvement and benefits available - from offering your service as sponsorship-in-kind, to sponsoring an individual event or an entire section of the programme (e.g. music, theatre, comedy, etc.) - right through to potential title sponsorship.
