LONDON INTERNATIONAL ANIMATION FESTIVAL LOOKS FOR SPONSORS TO INCLUDE IN ITS TITLE CREDITS

Now entering its fourth year, the London International Animation Festival (LIAF) is a celebration of the very best international and local animation. It showcases the painstaking and amazing work of artists and filmmakers who have discovered that in this medium they can go anywhere their imagination leads them.

LIAF has very quickly become the largest animation festival in the UK and a vital and unique event, expanding the diversity of London's film and cultural scenes. This year it will showcase more than 250 films from around thirty countries. They will be selected from over 1,500 submissions and many will be UK premieres.

The festival is broad in scope and content with nine competitive screenings, kids sessions, the latest digital computer animation, animated documentaries, retrospectives and specialised theme sessions as well as workshops, seminars and discussions. The festival screens over six days and nights at the Curzon Cinema Soho in the heart of London in August 2007.

In 2006, over 2,500 people passed through the doors and the final night Best of the Festival screening was shown twice to meet demand. The festival attracted press coverage from the Guardian, the Independent, Time Out and Metro, amongst many others.

LIAF seeks to form a partnership with a small number of presentation sponsors to bring the world's best animation to some of London's most exciting and valuable audience groups. There are a variety of levels of involvement available including Title sponsorship. The organisers are looking to agree sponsorship arrangements by May 2007 for the 2007 Festival.
