CHARLES DICKENS LONDON
Chris West provides two popular services, appropriate for a range of events which might have a London and/or literary connection. Portraying Charles Dickens - complete with period costume - he offers talks on the theme "Introducing Charles Dickens and the London he endured, loved and hugely influenced". The talks are often adapted to seasonal events, with timely variations such as "A Christmas Carol" and "Scrooge". His second offering seems to have grown out of his characterful portrayal of the legendary writer: namely his "Twist with Dickens" Quiz events, which involve light-hearted questions about modern London, its quirks and history. Chris enjoys stimulating thought, rather than going into great depth, and aims to entertain, hoping to give good value for money. He would be very pleased to discuss enquiries about after dinner speaking or similar engagements.

JOHN BELL - After Dinner Speaker
Laughter is a social bonding function rarely practised in solitude. It is an essential part of successful conferences, conventions and symposia. It reduces anxiety, de-stresses delegates and lowers blood pressure. This is why the after dinner-speech slot is too important to be left to a well meaning, but uninspiring amateur. By hiring John Bell you will benefit in the knowledge you have booked a seriously funny and experienced entertainer who understands the psychology of humour and, using well tried and tested techniques and stories, will have your delegates crying with laughter. It is common knowledge that John is one of our top motivational conference speakers; he has after all, using delegate evaluation scores, been voted Best Conference Speaker of the Year on no less than four occasions. What is not so well known is that he also uses his humorous style of audience participation to delight and entertain corporate audiences worldwide in a less formal after-dinner setting. John's style of delivery is unique, in that he often invites his audiences to choose the topics of his talk. Only the best at the top of their profession have the confidence and expertise to create humour out of any subject related to people behaviour and the mind. The author of over twenty books, John delights men and women alike when he skilfully explains the observed absurdities of human behaviour and relationships. And it doesn't matter who his audience are: be they bankers, builders or barristers, there is a rapid realisation that he is an expert in his field. With a quick and astute brain, he is capable of creating humour out of the day-to-day situations we all encounter (duration 20-40mins).

MARK JONES - Master of Ceremonies/Compère/Host
Mark Jones will happily admit that award ceremonies and sporting dinners are his specialist subjects. He's compèred countless events around the globe, including Sky Sports and ESPN events, concerts and business awards and many more. Mark even hosted a successful 'sportsmen's-dinners-for-the-troops' tour across war-torn Kosovo with England World Cup winners. Mark regularly hosts Manchester United's Player-of-the-Year awards, plus Aston Villa's and the MBNA Football Awards. He's been regular live MC for Sky Sports' Masters Football, hosting their UK tournaments and those in Dubai, Kuala Lumpur (twice), Brunei and Macau in China. He also presented the live TV interviews. He's covered Manchester United, Celtic and Liverpool's pre-season American tours for UK radio. On the morning of the terrorist attacks on 9/11, he was very close (too close) to the World Trade Center in Manhattan. He spent most of the day as a Salvation Army volunteer, helping the NYPD and the emergency services. For the rest of that week, he reported 'live' from Ground Zero for UK radio. Mark Jones is one of the most experienced radio presenters in the UK. Starting at BBC Manchester, he graduated to Liverpool's Radio City and became an award-winner. His awards include a Sony for his hosting of Michael Jackson's Aintree concert, (the 'biggest solo concert in history'), where he entertained a crowd of 125,000+. After several very successful years at Century (now Smooth), Mark returned to host a daily UK-networked programme. He's also heard regularly on Manchester's Magic 1152 (formerly Piccadilly). Mark even spread his experienced wings (and tonsils) overseas and featured on American radio stations WEFT and Q-96 in Champaign, Illinois, where he hosted the black-tie American Heart Association Fundraising Dinners. Not limiting his talents to radio, Mark's written and published several books, including the best-selling Mark Jones' Birthday Book, which became the definitive UK radio reference book. Mark Jones is the most experienced, professional and reliable Master of Ceremonies. He's the perfect choice to host award ceremonies, conferences, sportsman's dinners, Q&As, charity fundraisers, corporate events, quizzes, music events ... and so much more. Mark Jones hosts events across the UK and worldwide.

ROB SPROSTON SPORTS|
The Sporting Dinner business has evolved during the last forty years into a multi-million pound industry. Almost every night of the week, all over the country and in countries far and wide, hundreds of organisations stage functions to fund-raise or to celebrate. It is money from such events which keeps many smaller clubs in business. If you are planning an event and require a speaker then perhaps we can assist. With over 25 years experience on the circuit we can advise who are the best speakers. As independents we can book anyone, advise on suitability of speakers and negotiate the fees. Sports Clubs Lunches, Dinners, Masonic Events, Golf Clubs, Rotary, Charity Fund Raising just about everything for the After Dinner World.
