SCOTLAND'S SECRET BUNKER
Scotland's Sectret Bunker is seeking sponsorship from local or national companies who wish to take advantage of its unique attractions. Scotland's Secret Bunker sits in the heart of Fife between Anstruther and St. Andrews. Its location attracts thousands of visitors during its open seasons, due to the popularity of the area with St. Andrews, the home of golf, just six miles north. The East Neuk is a popular attraction due to its rich history and famous food. Sponsors will be able to use the bunker facilities for conferencing or any other reason that they choose. Sponsors will be heavily represented, both in the bunker itself and on its promotional material, which is available in hundreds of tourist attractions in the UK. "As Scotland's most unique attraction, we draw in thousands of visitors a year. We have catering facilities on the first level as well as a gift shop and a wide array of vehicles used during the cold war. We are open from March through to November and during this time host several events from paranormal investigations to gigs. We have also had a couple of student films shot on site that have been viewed at some of the world's biggest film festivals, including Cannes". Contact: Steven Mackie, Assistant Manager. Address: Crown Building, Troywood, St. Andrews KY16 8QH. Tel.: 01333 310301. Fax: 01333 312040. E-mail: manager@secretbunker.co.uk

THE SOLENT EYE
The Solent Eye is a £4m attraction planned for Southsea, Hampshire. The Solent Eye will be the UK's first dedicated 180 feet high restaurant and scenic viewing wheel. The Solent Eye will be situated adjacent to the existing Clarence Pier Amusement Complex on Southsea's Clarence Esplanade. The Wheel will allow visitors to take in the stunning views of the ever-changing Solent Bay, Portsmouth's busy harbour and the Isle Of Wight. The company behind the venture, Billy Manning Limited, will privately fund the majority of the attraction. The company is seeking one major sponsor. The terms of the sponsorship are negotiable and in return the sponsor's information will be given prime placement on the attraction itself (similar to "The British Airways London Eye") and on all associated products. Planning permission has already been granted for The Solent Eye, and the manufacturer has commenced production. "Please contact us for an open, no-obligation discussion in relation to this unique sponsorship opportunity". Contact: John H W Thurston, Operations Manager. OAT/001 MARGATE HARBOUR ARM
This is an opportunity to sponsor a permanent seaside look-out point for the public in Margate, Kent. The sponsorship will reach a wide range of people: UK seaside holiday visitors, contemporary art gallery visitors and local people of all ages in Kent. Margate is a seaside town undergoing huge regeneration, including the Margate Harbour Arm project (www.margateharbourarm.co.uk) which has turned a derelict pier into a new attraction with high quality offerings. So far there is an art gallery, artists' studios, a cafe, an ice cream shop, a gift and jewellery shop and, hopefully very soon, a fish restaurant and two more retail units. Margate Harbour Arm is located directly next to the site where the David Chipperfield-designed Turner Contemporary Gallery is currently being built. The Turner Contemporary is expected to attract 120,000 visitors per year. The location has panoramic sea views, and the proposed project aims to connect the public with the marine environment. The aim is to create a look-out point at the end of the Harbour Arm which makes the most of the location and the experience of being surrounded by sea. Information panels will be created but they will not just be the usual photo-and-info. They will be high quality in terms of content, appearance and construction, to complement the Harbour Arm project and to sit comfortably alongside the regeneration and artistic environment being created in Margate. It is anticipated that a local artist/cartoonist will be involved to make them something special. Local naturalists and teachers will also be involved to focus on the important facts, in a way which is accessible to both adults and children. Given the location, the durability of the structures is going to be very important and options have been discussed with an engineer and structural glass expert. Ideally it will also be possible to provide a platform with binoculars. The budget for the project is unlikely to exceed £15,000 but the exact amount required will depend upon specification. One sponsor is sought. Contact: Dr Fiona Sherriff. Address: 1 Beach Houses, Royal Crescent, Margate CT9 5AL. Tel.: 07968 209047. Fax: 01843 292375. E-mail: info@margateharbourarm.co.uk.
