SCN/PL001 BRITISH ASSOCIATION FOR CRICKETERS WITH DISABILITIES
The British Association for Cricketers with Disabilities is a charitable organisation run entirely by volunteers and its main job is to run and administer the Disabled County Cricket Championship on behalf of the ECB. There are some sixteen counties currently involved, with plans to take on a further four counties in the next two years. The BACD offers cricket opportunities for people with learning or physical disabilites and is looking for sponsorship for its national competitions. "We currently run two county competitions, one using a normal hardball and one for those less mobile, using a softer ball, called an Incrediball. We also run a national Twenty/20 competition at the National Cricket Performance Centre at Loughborough. This is for the fifty-two best physically disabled cricketers in the country. For the county championship competitions, we are looking for sponsorship deals in the region of £2K per competition per season and for the Twenty/20 competition we are looking for deals in the region of £1K". Contact: Richard Hill, Chairman - BACD Tournaments Committee. Address: 25 Nutfield, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire AL7 1UL. Tel.: 01707 882236. E-mail: welwyncc@gmx.com.

DARREN TALBOT CRICKET COACHING
Darren Talbot Cricket Coaching was founded in April 2007 to coach and promote cricket to primary state school children. The organisation has a continuous programme in primary state schools across the UK designed not only to coach cricket to children who might not otherwise get the chance to play cricket at school, but also to help with their overall fitness and to increase teambuilding. The company would like to make this as cheap as possible, so that no-one gets left out for financial reasons - but they can only achieve this with further sponsorship. By the summer of 2008, Darren Talbot Cricket Coaching was working in around twenty-five schools in the UK and aims to be in around a hundred schools by the summer of 2009. "We would be very happy to meet with you to discuss these sponsorship opportunities but if in the meantime you do have any questions, please do not hesitate to let us know". Contact: Darren Talbot, Managing Director. Address: 27 Ravensfield Gardens, Epsom, Surrey KT19 0ST. Tel.: 07912 873591. E-mail: info@cricketcoach.uk.com.

SCN/PL004 INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY CRICKET TRUST (ICCT)
International Community Cricket Trust Limited (ICCT) - UK registered charity no. 1119716 - is the parent company of On-Side Cricket Limited (OSCL) - see www.onsidecricket.org.uk. On-Side Cricket is a 'not-for-profit' organisation that has been founded by long-serving recreational cricketers as a 'one-stop-shop-resource' offering comprehensive, basic practical support services and facilities for the officers and committees of the circa. 9,000 recreational (community) cricket clubs throughout the United Kingdom, many of whom are finding survival each year increasingly difficult. In order to promote its activities, OSCL is seeking major sponsors for its annual UK-wide National Pubs Twenty/20 Knockout Trophy Competition, launching in July 2009. This is a professionally-administered, high-media-profile, annual cricket event, the simultaneous objectives of which are to    raise the profile and emphasise the value of both cricket and (all) the pubs in local communities - both urban and rural     support local pubs by helping arrest the decline in their numbers resulting from the smoking ban     stimulate and re-encourage greater local pub patronage and customer loyalty     promote and encourage much greater local community participation and involvement in cricket     provide a high-profile national showcase for the licensed trade generally and empathetic corporate sponsors and commercial joint venture/affinity marketing/CSR partners, eg pub owners, breweries and suppliers in particular, who see the value of taking their brands directly to the 2,000,000+ individuals, their families - and their clubs - who participate annually in community cricket throughout the UK. INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CRICKET UMPIRING & SCORING (IICUS)
The International Institute of Cricket Umpiring & Scoring (IICUS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the International Community Cricket Trust (ICCT) - UK-registered charity No.1119716 - under the chairmanship of Keith Pont, the former Director of Recreational Cricket Development at the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB). IICUS is unique: a 'world-first'! It is the only independent institute in the world able to offer professionally-delivered education and development courses leading to the award of the following Edexcel*-approved, internationally-recognised, cricket qualifications    BTEC (Level 2) Certificate in Cricket Umpiring    BTEC Advanced Diploma in Cricket Umpiring    BTEC (Level 3) Professional Award for Delivering Vocational Cricket Umpiring and Scoring Qualifications (this latter teaches, qualifies and empowers local indigenous tutors to subsequently deliver the BTEC (Level 2) Certificate courses themselves in their own countries). Full details of these courses can be found on: www.umpires.tv. (* Edexcel Limited is part of the Pearson Group and, with offices in over a hundred countries, is the largest recognised - and one of the most respected - international qualifications awarding bodies in the world). IICUS has established Edexcel-approved main hub and 'satellite' Umpire Education Centres throughout the UK, but the increased demands throughout Australasia and the Asia Pacific/ASEAN region for its courses has necessitated the creation of an Edexcel-accredited Umpire Education Centre at not only the Sydney Cricket Ground in New South Wales (with 'satellite' centres in each of the other states), but also similar main hub centres in each of the Asia-Pacific countries in the region - specifically in Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka (also, now, in Dubai). Because of the limited training period 'windows' in each of the different countries and the immediate need to deliver the increasing numbers of courses and qualified tutors required at (only) these Edexcel-accredited centres, the Institute is seeking to engage urgently with empathetic corporate stakeholder sponsors and commercial joint venture/affinity marketing/CSR partners who see the value of taking their brands directly to the 6,000,000+ participants (and their families) in international community cricket. Being also charity-owned, IICUS has a range of significant optional reciprocal quid pro quos and 'ROIs' to offer seriously-interested potential course sponsors and centre partners. More information about the Institute and its activities is available on request. Contact: Naval Heeramaneck, FCA, Director of Fundraising & Partnerships. Address: 8th Floor, Tolworth House, Ewell Road, Surbiton, Surrey, England KT6 7EL. Tel.: +44 (0)20 8390 3100. Mobile: +44 (0)7768 026458. E-mail: info@umpires.tv.

LASHINGS WORLD XI
Lashings World XI has developed an unrivalled reputation as the world's leading provider of truly legendary, crowd drawing and entertaining cricket, since the celebrated signing of West Indian captain Richie Richardson in 1994. Sir Viv Richards, Shane Warne, Sachin Tendulkar, Shoaib Akhtar and Brian Lara have all represented the club, which continues to attract the true legends and current superstars of the game to its colours. During the domestic season, Lashings takes its World XI to venues throughout the UK and now, through its programme of overseas tours, around the globe, delivering the ultimate corporate entertainment and sponsored cricket experience. Lashings' key attraction continues to be their unique blend of crickets legends with current superstars of the game. A multi-cultural and multi-national squad, their illustrious names are drawn from talent from across the cricketing world. In 2006/7 new signings included England's Phil DeFreitas and Chris Lewis, 23 year old former Zimbabwean captain Tatenda Taibu, Sri Lanka's Aravinda de Silva and Russel Arnold, India's Agit Agarkar, South Africa's Nantie Hayward, West Indian Phil Simmons plus former Ashes winning England captain, Clare Connor, making her the first female international cricket star to play alongside the men in what was previous an all male line up. Lashings' worldwide fame was confirmed in the summer of 2006, thanks to the signing of Sachin Tendulkar, arguably the world's greatest living batsman. Huge crowds travelled from all over the UK to watch India's national hero perform in five very special guest appearances for the club. Major companies now see the value of the Lashings brand, not just in terms of profile, but also in helping to achieve the objective of bringing cricket to many people in society that would otherwise not have the opportunity to see world class cricketers in action and talk to them about the game. The list of sponsors now includes Lombard, Cockspur, Quicksilver, Williams De Broe, Half Moon, NatWest and Surridge. The Lashings players are true ambassadors of cricket, whilst also promoting good manners, politeness, decency and respect. The team has a variety of players from different ethnic backgrounds and off the pitch, Lashings attend many community events and festivals supporting poor and disadvantaged communities, ethnic minorities, disadvantaged and disabled children, business communities, small rural cricket clubs and a whole host of charities at home and abroad. Wherever Lashings go, the players always hold free (but priceless) coaching sessions with young people, either at the ground before the game or in local schools, colleges or universities. It is Lashings' desire to become recognised sports ambassadors, supporting the work of the UK government and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in a range of activities that will help deliver their objectives to promote both cricket and social values. "We are seeking additional sponsorship partners who see the potential in promoting their brand and in the development of cricket and charity work. Lashings is a potential Harlem Globetrotters of cricket and has developed a range of flexible sponsorship packages to suit potential sponsors' needs". Contact: David Folb and Simon Teague.
