ARFM
ARfm is a programme maker which is about to enter into an agreement to provide "Classic Rock"-based radio shows to a leading European broadcaster. This new service will be a pan-European radio station (on Sky in the UK/Ireland, on Eurobird1 across Europe) based on motorsport and classic rock and has the backing of a leading European car manufacturer who will channel the output into all their dealerships between 9am and 6pm. Evenings and weekends will be turned over to ARfm-produced specialist rock shows which will cover everything from the classic rock of the '70s and '80s through to the modern rock of today. The target audience is ABC1 males aged between 25-55. ARfm is now seeking sponsorship for these evening shows. The main channel costs, satellite uplink, etc. have been covered by the Prime Sponsor and the organisation now needs to raise up to £48,000 to cover production and engineering costs over a one year cycle. ARfm feels that this would be an ideal platform for a company with a pan-European product or service targeting the male ABC1 demographic. Contact: Steve Price, Station Manager. Address: ARfm, PO Box 595, East Grinstead, RH19 1XX. Tel.: 01342 302415. Fax: 01342 321442. E-mail: steve@arfm.co.uk.

MR/0002 ANGUS 'EL FLACO' ON INVINCIBLE INTERNET RADIO
Angus 'El Flaco' is a DJ on a radio show which is broadcast on the internet every week. The show goes out live every Sunday at 9pm (GMT-UK) and lasts for two hours. It uses a webcam and so becomes more of a TV show. The music played on Angus' show, which is called Blast From The Past, is everything from the past - from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, pop, dance, rock, R&B, reggae and more. The show's audience (as have made themselves known!) is quite a mixture of people, from the ages of sixteen up to sixty-two. A Facebook group, set up for the show a few weeks ago, currently stands at 136 members. The show has had listeners in Slovakia, Denmark, America and has even had international callers entering the competitions while on air. Angus also recently interviewed guests on the show, including Garry Vaux, an author of a book due for release this August, called Legends Of Kids TV. He also has more interviews in the pipeline. Angus is not paid for the show - in fact, he has to pay subs. for use of the studio. He also pays for the prizes for the competition out of his own pocket. He has also, in the past, paid for advertising on Facebook which appears on the little box on the right of Facebook users' home pages. Usually, due to costs, he runs the advert on the day of broadcast only. "I am looking for a sponsor who would be able to cover my expenses, ie. subs., competition prizes, advertising. In return, your company/brand will get exposure on my show by way of logos (put up in the studio in eyeview of the webcam); and also via jingles which I have professionally made which can rebrand the show as, for example, "Blast From The Past sponsored by (company/brand name)". You can watch past shows by going to www.invincibleradio.com and scrolling back through past shows (Blast From the Past - DJ Angus 'El Flaco'). For more information, please email info@anguselflaco.com". Contact: Angus Auden. Tel.: 07984 153 779. E-mail: info@anguselflaco.com.
