| ORT/PL001 | ![]() NOTTINGHAMSHIRE FLAVOURS MAGAZINE Nottinghamshire Flavours is an independently published 64-page quarterly magazine which celebrates the local Gourmet and Foodie scene in Nottinghamshire. There are restaurant reviews, and articles on gourmet travel, wine, and 'grow-your-own' gardening. The magazine is sold through the county's farm shops, garden centres and specialist food outlets. It has a growing list of subscribers, and has been praised for its independent stance, quality editorial and determination to avoid over-reliance on advertising. "We are now looking for sponsorship partners for the magazine and its associated Foodie Events. | ORT/PL002 | ![]() ONLINE RETAIL AWARDS The Online Retail Awards are unique and non-partisan, promoted through a top-level domain name, independent of any retailer or media owner, designer or developer. They are global in scope and recognise the huge shift in public attitudes and habits, away from Main Street, the Mall and the High Street, towards online shopping. The clearly stated aim of the Awards is to seek out fine examples of excellent website experiences and effectiveness, great design, best practice and customer service and to reward them publicly, to the benefit of both winning online retailers and their customers. The Awards comprise twenty-two retail sector category awards, six overall achievement awards and a single top accolade, named the Prix d'Or. Categories are defined by industry sector, so food retailers compete with other food retailers; and airlines' sites with other transport operators' sites. New for 2011 are the Education, Jewellery & Watches, and Mobile categories. The Online Retail Awards are open to any retailer with an online presence or their digital agencies and e-commerce companies, irrespective of size of operation, provided that the website and online activity took place during the previous calendar year. Full details of entry criteria and fees are on the Awards website at www.onlineretailawards.com. Entries for the Awards close on April 30th, each year, and retailers or their agencies are able to upload entries from January 1st each year to the Awards' website. The Online Retail Awards are actively promoted (visit the Press page on the website for examples of PR and promotional advertising), which is a real benefit for supporting partners. Active support is received from Retail in Asia, PlanetRetail and Internet Retailing (Australia). Further support for the Awards is sought from leading search engines, online payment and fulfilment services, ISPs, supply chain companies and optimisation and web marketing organisations, each year. The Online Retail Awards are organised by the experienced business celebration team at LEO London, owned by a group of individuals with a combined 210 years' experience of running successful awards events in the US, Europe, Asia and the UK. | ORT/002 | LEITH CIRCLE Leith Circle has become a very important community support group. Leith Circle, formed in 2009 by a local group of friends, has a shop which displays and sells local arts and crafts along co-operative principles. "In addition to this in the last three years we have 'inspired individuals to fulfil their potential'. Some have totally turned their lives around and taken a step forward instead of backwards. Some have achieved the first step into work in Scotland. Some have benefited from the shared life experience of others within the group and most do not feel they are on their own any more!!! Everyone in Leith is proud of Leith Circle; but it requires core funding to sucessfully launch future projects - specifically with regard to opening a cafe and kitchen refurbishment within an existing centre and to keep the circle and the shop going. The Leith community is very proud of the Leith Circle Shop and it has become a symbol of positivity in what is a very negative period of time". Contact: Sandra Marshall, Co-ordinator. Address: 115 Leith Walk, Edinburgh EH6 8NP. Tel.: 07564 138768. E-mail: royalartizana@live.co.uk.

| ORT/003 | UNTOLD DESIGN CIC Untold Design CIC is a not for profit Community Interest Company which provides affordable showcasing opportunities for new and emerging designers to introduce themselves to press, media and buyers within the fashion industry. It also creates opportunities for designers and creatives to subsist themselves in the early stages of their careers at consumer events where they are able to meet with potential customers, build an awareness of their brand and sell to clients. The ethos of Untold is to work as a collective through which a cyclical programme of support and assistance is made available, with the aim of building a long-lasting legacy for new designers and creatives. The organisation relies solely on the hard work and dedication of volunteers and visionaries to take the vision forward; however, there is so much more that they have planned to really broaden their reach and their usefulness to designers and creatives, and they now seek outside sponsorship and support that will enable them to take the organisation to the next level. Currently, Untold produces fashion shows and exhibitions during London Fashion Week, including the Fashion Diversity event produced in partnership with Mahogany Model Management and Museum of London. They have also produced shows at such venues as the Clink Prison Museum, The Foundling Museum and the Kensington Rooms and have an ongoing partnership with the London Design Festival. Untold also works with Clothes Show London and debuts at The Glam Show at Earls Court this October. "All of these opportunities have been created through the organisation since it began in 2007. Over the next year we are seeking to establish a base from which designers can have a retail presence which will also double up as a flexible workspace and training venue for new and aspiring designers. We are seeking to forge long term working relationships with our supporters and sponsors and this can be in varying forms, including services in kind and monetary donations".
