Brooks Macdonald extends Principal Sponsorship of Middlesex CCC

Middlesex County Cricket Club has announced that long-term Principal Sponsor, Brooks Macdonald, has extended its headline sponsorship of the club until the end of 2019.

Brooks Macdonald, one of the UK's leading investment management groups, has been Middlesex's Principal Sponsor since the start of the 2012 season, and this sponsorship extension will see their partnership with the club stretch to eight years.

Middlesex's Chief Executive, Richard Goatley, and Chris Macdonald, Group Chief Executive Officer of Brooks Macdonald, shook hands on the new sponsorship extension at Lord's recently ahead of Middlesex's NatWest T20 Blast South Group clash with London rivals Surrey, played in front of a record crowd of 27,119 at the Home of Cricket.

Richard Goatley, Chief Executive of Middlesex County Cricket Club, said: "We are delighted to be able to continue our relationship with Brooks Macdonald for a further three years. They are an outstanding company to work with and have been a brilliant supporter of the development of the club over the last five years.

"We have ambitious plans at Middlesex County Cricket Club and Brooks Macdonald are going to play a huge part in helping us achieve them".

Angus Fraser, Middlesex's Managing Director of Cricket, commented: "We are thrilled that Brooks Macdonald are continuing their association with the club. They are a terrific sponsor, fun to have around and are good people.

"They have made a hugely positive contribution to everything we as a club are trying to achieve and their continued investment has really helped the club build and develop in the time that we've been in partnership with them".

Chris Macdonald, Group Chief Executive Officer, added: "Brooks Macdonald has had an excellent five years working alongside the whole of the Middlesex team. We share many values, including a particular dedication to developing talent, and both institutions have come a long way in this time. I am therefore delighted to announce the continuation of this relationship for a further three years.

"It is an exciting time for both Brooks Macdonald, with our continued growth, and for Middlesex CCC, given their strong development as a club. We very much look forward to continuing and building the relationship between us".
