Derbyshire-based construction firm G F Tomlinson Group have today been unveiled as the new sponsor of the club's giant video scoreboard.

After signing a two-year deal to sponsor the screen, Barry Sewards, chairman of the G F Tomlinson Group, said: "We are pleased to announce that GF Tomlinson will be the official sponsor of Chesterfield FC for the next two years.

"Being supportive of the local community and engaging with Derbyshire sports clubs is something that G F Tomlinson Group is passionate about. Chesterfield FC is a reputable club that is a real asset to the community and it is important to us that we give them our support. We wish them every success this season".

After agreeing the new partnership, Kevin Fitzgerald, Chesterfield's head of commercial and marketing, said: "I would like to give a very big welcome to the G F Tomlinson Group and thank them for the fantastic commitment that they have shown to the club by sponsoring the club's giant video scoreboard.

"The video scoreboard has been a tremendous success since it was installed ten months ago and I'm really pleased that the G F Tomlinson Group have come on board to support the club in this way".
