Mira Showers extends CTFC sponsorship

Cheltenham Town Football Club (CTFC) and Mira Showers have confirmed a sponsorship renewal deal which will see Mira Showers remain as the official club sponsor until 2016.

The deal confirms an ongoing eight year partnership between the Robins and Mira Showers, which began in 2008.

Mira Showers is the leading shower manufacturer in the UK, and its Cheltenham site employs more than 700 members of staff in the local area - many of whom are Cheltenham Town supporters themselves.

Craig Baker, Marketing Director for Mira Showers, commented: "We are delighted to announce the extension of our sponsorship of Cheltenham Town Football Club. Mira Showers takes great pride in its production facility in Cheltenham, and sponsoring the club is a great extension of the commitment and close ties we have with the local community".

The sponsorship deal will see the Mira Showers logo emblazoned across the CTFC shirts for the next two years as well as strengthening their links within the community.

The announcement was backed up by a 'Mira Day' at Cheltenham Town on Saturday, 15th March, where over 200 Mira Showers employees attended the League 2 match against Torquay United with guests of their chosen charity, CLIC Sargent, also attending the game.

Paul Baker, Cheltenham Town chairman, was present at the Mira Showers product site earlier this week to celebrate the ongoing partnership: "It is fantastic to have Mira Showers as our main club sponsor for another two year term. The relationship is one we are really proud of, we share the same values and are keen that we open the football club out to the community in which we both play such a large role, either as employer or as provider of local sport and entertainment.

"We work together closely, share resources and facilities and a passion to exceed expectations".

Cheltenham Town and Mira Showers have close links within the local community and discussions are constant as to how both can make a continued positive impact in and around Gloucestershire using the ongoing partnership.
