Northants Cricket has announced that Travis Perkins will become Community Partners of the club for the 2015 season.

The partnership will see the Travis Perkins brand on the covered West Stand which, as part of the deal, will be refurbished and will be known as the Travis Perkins Community Stand.

Commenting on the new partnership, Northants Cricket Chief Executive David Smith said: "Northants Cricket is delighted with our partnership with such an iconic brand as Travis Perkins.

"The club is seeking to grow its pipeline of local contacts and I believe this relationship will be to the mutual benefit of both parties. Travis Perkins is a strong supporter of local sport and we are very happy they have chosen to support Northants Cricket".

Martin Beale, Local Regional Director of Travis Perkins, added: "Travis Perkins is proud to be supporting The Steelbacks and we hope this will help Northants County Cricket Club to bounce straight back up into Division One of the County Championship".

Refurbishment work on the stand will take place in time for the start of the 2015 LV County Championship Season.
